From Neuhaus am Rennweg along the Thuringian Porcelain Route towards Saalfeld it is only a stone's throw up to Lichte, where you can look back on a long tradition in the production of porcelain. Today you can look in the Porzellanmanufaktur Wagner and Apel in Lippelsdorf the porcelain workers over the shoulder and in the factory outlet buy great deals.

Unique in Thuringia there is the opportunity to create in the drawingschool in Lichte own works of art made of porcelain. Here you can learn in the local history museum of the history of the place.
